Your Trusted Spokane Massage Therapist
A Partner in Your Healing Journey
When you book a session at Heavens Touch, you're connecting with someone who has spent over three decades learning how bodies heal, how people carry stress, and what it really takes to help someone feel whole again. I'm Jules, and every body tells a story. I'm here to listen.
What Makes My Practice Different
I've worked in corporate spas, luxury resorts, and busy franchises. I've provided in-home care for people who couldn't leave their beds and hospice massage for families navigating impossible moments. Those experiences taught me something vital: the best massage isn't about following a routine — it's about paying attention.
Before we even start your session, I want to understand what brought you here. Is it that knot in your shoulder that's been there for months? The stress that won't let you sleep? Recovery from an old injury that's flaring up again? Or maybe you just need an hour where no one needs anything from you. Whatever it is, that's where we begin.
During your massage, I'm constantly reading your body's responses. Are your shoulders dropping? Is your breathing slowing down? Are you bracing against certain pressure, or leaning into it? Your feedback — both spoken and unspoken — guides every choice I make. This isn't a one-sided treatment. It's a conversation between my hands and your body.
“I don't just treat symptoms. I work with people. There's a difference.”
35+ Years of Learning, Growing & Mastering My Craft
I've been practicing massage therapy for over 35 years, and I became a licensed massage therapist in Washington State to formalize the expertise I'd developed over decades of hands-on work. But my education has never stopped. In this field, if you're not learning, you're falling behind. Over my career, I've pursued advanced training in specialized modalities because I want to offer you more than just 'a massage' — I want to offer you exactly what your body needs.
Specialized Training Includes:
Deep Tissue & Therapeutic Work Advanced techniques for chronic pain, injury recovery, and stubborn tension that won't release with lighter pressure.
Myofascial Release Understanding how fascia — the connective tissue surrounding your muscles — can restrict movement and cause pain when it gets tight or adhered.
Trigger Point Therapy Identifying and releasing those painful "knots" that radiate discomfort to other areas of your body.
Prenatal & Postpartum Massage Specialized positioning and techniques to safely support expecting and new mothers through pregnancy and recovery.
Sports Massage & Injury Rehabilitation Working with athletes and active individuals to improve performance, speed recovery, and prevent injuries.
Medical Massage & Pain Management Collaborating with healthcare providers to support treatment plans for chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and pain management.
Swedish Relaxation Techniques The art of helping someone's nervous system shift from fight-or-flight into deep, restorative relaxation.
Energy Work & Mind-Body Integration Understanding that healing isn't just physical — it's mental, emotional, and spiritual too.
Every workshop, every certification, every continuing education course I take has one goal: to serve you better. Because when you trust me with your body and your pain, I take that responsibility seriously.

You Don't Have to Be "Massage Material" — You Just Have to Be You
One of the most common things I hear from new clients is, 'I don't know if I'm the right kind of person for massage.' Let me be clear: there's no 'type.' If you have a body, you qualify. That said, here are some of the types of people I've had the privilege of working with over the years:
The Chronic Pain Warriors
I've worked with people who've tried everything — physical therapy, chiropractors, medications, cortisone shots — and still wake up hurting. Some come to me skeptical, thinking massage is just temporary relief. But when we work together consistently, addressing not just the pain but the patterns causing it, I've watched people reclaim their lives. That's why I do this.
The Overwhelmed & Burned Out
You're juggling work, family, finances, health concerns, and a to-do list that never ends. Your body is screaming for rest, but your brain won't shut off. I see you. And I want you to know: taking an hour for yourself isn't selfish. It's survival. Some of my most meaningful sessions are with people who just need permission to stop holding everything together for 60 minutes.
The Athletes & Weekend Warriors
Whether you're training for a marathon or just trying to keep up with your kids at the park, your body works hard. I've helped runners overcome IT band issues, weightlifters recover from rotator cuff strains, and cyclists address hip flexor tightness. My job isn't just to make you feel good — it's to help you keep doing what you love without breaking down.
The Expecting & New Moms
Pregnancy is a beautiful, exhausting, uncomfortable miracle. I've worked with hundreds of expecting mothers — helping with lower back pain, swollen feet, sciatic nerve pain, and the general 'I can't get comfortable' feeling of the third trimester. And after baby arrives? You need care too. Postpartum massage helps your body recover and gives you a moment to feel like yourself again.
The First-Timers
I've guided countless first-timers through their initial session. Your comfort is most important. Skin to skin contact is best but if you want to stay completely dressed that’s fine. We will make it work. I'll answer every question and make sure you feel safe and comfortable. By the end, most people wonder why they waited so long.
The People With Medical Conditions
I've provided massage for people with fibromyalgia, arthritis, cancer, Parkinson's disease, chronic migraines, and countless other conditions. If you're working with a healthcare team, I'm happy to coordinate with your doctor or physical therapist to support your treatment plan. Your condition doesn't disqualify you — it just means we approach your care more intentionally.
See yourself in one of these?
Therapeutic Discomfort vs Pain
Let's talk about something most massage therapists don't address directly: pain. Specifically, the kind of therapeutic discomfort that happens when you're releasing deep tension versus the kind of pain that signals injury or harm.
When I work on chronic tension, trigger points, or adhesions, you might feel intensity. It's that 'hurts so good' sensation where your body knows something's shifting. You might wince, you might breathe deeply, but you're not bracing against the table or gritting your teeth. That's therapeutic discomfort — the kind that tells us healing is happening.
But actual pain? That's sharp, intolerable, makes you want to pull away, leaves you holding your breath. That's your body's alarm system saying 'stop.' And when you tell me something hurts in that way, I stop immediately and adjust. I never want you to feel like you have to endure pain to get results.
Here's my promise: I'll check in with you throughout your session. If the pressure is too much, I'll back off. If you want more intensity, I'll give it to you as long as your body agrees. You're in control. Always. Because the goal isn't to prove how tough you are — it's to help you heal.
"Healing doesn't require suffering. It requires trust, communication, and skilled hands. I bring all three."
What I Bring to Your Session
Massage therapy isn't just a job I clock in and out of. It's woven into who I am and how I see the world. Here's what else I bring to every session:
Empathy Born from Experience
I've lived through my own seasons of pain, grief, and healing. I understand what it's like to hurt — physically and emotionally. That lived experience makes me a better therapist. I don't just see your symptoms; I see you.
A Holistic View of Healing
Your tight shoulders aren't just about your shoulders. They're about your stress, your posture, your sleep, maybe even unresolved emotions you're carrying. I don't just treat body parts — I consider the whole picture of your life
Honesty Without Judgment
If I think massage isn't the right solution for your pain, I'll tell you. If I think you need to see a doctor or physical therapist first, I'll say so. My goal isn't to keep you on my table indefinitely — it's to help you get better, however that looks.
Presence & Attention
When you're in my studio, you have my full attention. No distractions, no rushing, no thinking about my next appointment. Just you, your body, and the care you deserve.
Creating the Experience You Deserve
After years of working in corporate spas, resorts, and franchises, I realized something: the best massage experiences happen when there's no clock-watching, no corporate protocols, and no pressure to upsell. Don't get me wrong — I learned incredible things working in those environments. But I wanted to create something different.
At Heavens Touch, you're not a number or a production quota. You're a person who deserves my undivided attention. My studio is designed to be a sanctuary — a place where you can let your guard down, breathe deeply, and trust that you're in expert, caring hands.
Opening my own practice means I get to work the way I believe massage should be practiced: with intention, without rush, and with complete focus on your unique needs. It means I can spend time at the beginning of your session really understanding what's going on and I can take time at the end to give you self-care guidance that actually helps.

What Happens When You Book Your First Session
Nervous about your first appointment? Here's exactly what to expect, so there are no surprises:
Step 1: Initial Contact When you book (online, phone, or text), I'll send you a brief intake form to fill out before your appointment. This helps me understand your health history and what you're hoping to address.
Step 2: Arrival & Consultation (10-15 minutes) Arrive a few minutes early to settle in. We'll discuss your intake form, talk about your goals, and I'll answer any questions you have. This is your time to tell me what's going on.
Step 3: Your Session (60 or 90 minutes) You'll undress to your comfort level (most people undress completely, but you can keep underwear on). You'll be draped with sheets and blankets at all times — I only uncover the area I'm working on. I'll step out while you get situated, then we'll begin.
Step 4: The Massage I'll check in with you throughout the session about pressure, comfort, and temperature. Feel free to speak up anytime, or just relax into silence — whatever feels right for you.
Step 5: After Your Session Take your time getting up. I'll give you a few moments to reorient, offer water, and discuss any recommendations for self-care or future sessions. No pressure, no hard sell — just honest guidance.
Step 6: Scheduling Your Next Visit (If Appropriate) If I think follow-up sessions would benefit you, I'll let you know. But ultimately, you decide what works for your schedule and budget.
